OK, Obama. I’ll vote for you…

I’m not really surprised how well Obama is doing in the polls (he also landed a Grammy for the Photo “ribbed” from The Weekly Standard. That’s the only thing ripped…Best Spoken Word for the audio version of his book The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream.) I’m also not really surprised that McCain has found his way to being the republican candidate. What is a fence-sitter to do?

Vote. That’s what I have to do as a responsible American. I have to vote for someone…and that someone will not be McCain. Mostly because he’s downright too old. I’m not an ageist. I just don’t think he will be able to handle the stress of the role he will have at hand. Eight years ago? Maybe. Today? Even though I find this guy to be tough as nails and possibly the best to handle wartime, I don’t know if we need another heart-attack.

Age is nothing but a number you might say. But there is something to be said for innovation, fresh ideas (I’M NOT SAYING CHANGE) and youth. Sorry to say this, but youth is king in America. Young people created everything we “worship” in today’s times of technology, ideology and every damn other “ology” you can think of and I’m curious to see what Obama is going to bring to the table.

Don’t misunderstand, as I’ve written before: I’m scared as hell about what we may be up against — with either candidate. And although I will admit that I want to see Bill gallivanting on the White House green once again, I’m not sure I want to see his wife. Something rings weird to me about that lady. I’m not exactly giving wonderfully political witticisms here. Just that I think that chick is weird. And I don’t want her finger on the button. Not necessarily because she’s a woman — she is a woman, don’t forget just because she’s hardened — but I will quote a female family member to remain nameless, “I think she would just crawl into a ball when times got rough.” I think my family member to remain nameless said that because, Hilary is a woman. I’m not going to lie. I would love to see success like that but part of me worries about a woman president just the same. Unless it is Geena Davis. That woman could kick Bin Laden’s tookus. Seriously…didn’t you guys watch the short-lived, but utterly awesome Commander in Chief? Why did it fail? Probably because she was a woman.

And the funny part is these are my results of which candidate to vote for who supports my views?? Crap, I’m more radical than I thought. Just look where Ron Paul scored on my test. That can’t be right…

Anyway, this just leaves me Obama. Call it jumping on the bandwagon but I have to choose, right? I’m sorry, I lived in Nebraska. And to know he even won THERE, changed my mind.

Obama is no good. He’s a great talking head, but it stops there. He has no real substance to him. I know that you have tons of wonderful substance to you, so I don’t get how you can fall for him!

Is it because he’s charming? 😉 If so, I could possibly buy that. But that’s it! I draw the line there!

Obama?? ack! My heart is just aching. I have such high hopes for you, Jenice! Don’t do this to me…

Charming? That’s why I didn’t want to vote for him. Maybe for that talking head thing you mentioned. I feel painted into a corner on this! At least the years before a had a REAL reason why I didn’t vote Bush.
Call it a gamble. Call it misguided reasons…
I just feel like my options are not really there anymore and Texas is up soon in March. I got to make a choice!!

  8. Well, I guess we’re both in a pickle… I can’t get myself to pull the lever for McCain either, but the other choices are so far outside my views and opinions that I might as well be voting for a Martian.

At this point, I am willing to vote for Ron Paul because he best fits within my ideology, but I know that it’s nothing more than a symbolic gesture. When the general election comes, I don’t know what I’ll do.

But Obama is scary. Just read what I wrote today. He may be a decent guy, but his politics scare the hell out of me. I would actually take Hillary over him!

  9. Hey lady.
McCain is old and as much as youth is king in America its not something we need in the White house.
The congress we have is already the second worst in our countrys history. Team that up with a Dem White house that has no experience and is clueless on foriegn polict and we’ll have a one state party that doesnt know its ass from a hole on the ground. That will be the heart attack you dont want.
Look at it this way. If McCain bites it during his term at least we’ll have someone as VP whos competant. Whoever he picks as his mate , Huckabee, Thompson, Giulianni will be far better than the leadership on the left.
Obama speaks well but has yet to define how he plans to do half the shit he says he will. Hope? Change?
Dung beetles can operate on that.
I dont agree with McCain on a few things. But to hand over the torch to anyone else with two wars going on right now I think is really dangerous.
And also, theres a few things that Obama needs to clear up as far as his blood relatives who work whithin radical Islamic movements in Africa.

He has a family connection to our enemies ! This is fact ! Not opinion or hopeful speculation.

“In 1991, when Obama joined the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, he pledged allegiance to something called the Black Value System, which is a code of non-Biblical ethics written by blacks, for blacks.

It encourages blacks to group together and separate from the larger American society by pooling their money, patronizing black-only businesses and backing black leaders. Such racial separatism is strangely at odds with the media’s portrayal of Obama as a uniter who reaches across races.”

“The candidate already has heeded his church’s “nonnegotiable commitment to Africa,” spending an inordinate amount of his campaign time on the Kenyan crisis, for one. Obama has close family ties to Kenya, and even founded a school in his ancestral village — the Senator Obama School.

In the bloody conflict there, which already has claimed some 700 lives, Obama appears to have sided with opposition leader Raila Odinga, head of the same Luo tribe to which Obama’s late Muslim father belonged.”

If a President Obama’s foreign and domestic policies are anything like the Afrocentric doctrine he’s pledged to uphold, Americans will pay a hefty price, including those among the growing black middle class.”

Right now the media has embraced Obama as their little honey and I dont think they want to blow this one out yet while the public is lapping up the promotion of their little rock star.

    Also.
Obama campaigned for Odinga in August of 2006, just before he filed with the US Federal Elections Commission for his presidential candidacy.

Odinga wanted to have the Luo tribe, mostly Muslims, take over Kenya from the inheritors of colonial power, the Kikuyu, and bring the country under Sharia law, kick out the Western investors in the nation that had made it one of the most stable nations in Africa, and supplant those Western investors with wealthy Arab oil money. It all failed. Then Odinga yelled election fraud, and put his Luo Islamofascists into the streets of Nairobi to “protest” by murdering, raping and maiming Kikuyu people, including the recent burning alive of a church full of Christians.

Both Odinga and Obama’s brother have ties to AQ.

The following well-documented article suggests that Barack Hussein Obama is a media darling who has direct connections to Kenya and the Marxist Odinga, and the press doesn’t want American voters to be aware of this connection.

    Obama’s Sharia Connections in Kenya

(Originally published at Right Truth January 16, 2008)

I think everyone needs to take another look at Barack Obama, his history, his church and his continuing connection to sharia law in Kenya:

Obama appears to have sided with opposition leader Raila Odinga, head of the same Luo tribe to which Obama’s late Muslim father belonged.

Obama’s older brother still lives there. Abongo “Roy” Obama is a Luo activist and a militant Muslim who argues that the black man must “liberate himself from the poisoning influences of European culture.” He urges his younger brother to embrace his African heritage.

Beyond family politics, these ties have potential foreign policy, even national security, implications.

Odinga is a Marxist who reportedly has made a pact with a hard-line Islamic group in Kenya to establish Shariah courts throughout the country. He has also vowed to ban booze and pork and impose Muslim dress codes on women — moves favored by Obama’s brother.

With al-Qaida strengthening its beachheads in Africa — from Algeria to Sudan to Somalia — the last thing the West needs is for pro-Western Kenya to fall into the hands of Islamic extremists.

Yet Obama interrupted his New Hampshire campaigning to speak by phone with Odinga, who claims to be his cousin. He did not speak with Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki.
Would Obama put African tribal or family interests ahead of U.S. interests? (continue reading at Investors Business Daily)

On Jan. 1, the world learned from major news sources that some churches and their occupants were burned in Kenya by Kenyans who didn’t like the outcome of a recent election. The media failed to report that these were MUSLIMS killing and destroying Christians and their churches.

Why do the Muslims back the more left-leaning Odinga? Like leftists in Europe and America, Odinga and his faction want to use Islam to oppose Christianity, which is seen as an impediment to the left’s agenda. [snip]

We are talking about objectivity and its dire lack in the media.

It seems pretty clear that the mainstream media have two reasons for omitting the details of the story:
    1. They sympathize with Islam because it is the “enemy of the enemy,” namely, Christianity.
    2. They are cowards hoping to avoid a confrontation with Islam in their home countries. (WND)

I suggest a number 3. That Barack Obama is a media darling, has direct connections to Kenya and Odinga, and the press doesn’t want American voters to be aware of this connection.

I would vote for obama too but unfortunately I wasn’t keeping up to date on when to vote for Florida and completely missed it. Both me and my boyfriend were ignorant enough to think the day was on a weekend until my mom asked me that Tueday evening why I didn’t vote. Ouch. On top of that she and my sis voted for evil hillary, damn them. Oh well. I support Obama anyway.

Interesting what Micky posted above, though. I didn’t read all of it cause I’m sleepy but I’ll get back to it. But i will say that there’s a lot of false propaganda on obama and that he deserves heavy research believing the nonsense. The internet is much too full of falsity to take anything at face value… especially when it comes to politics.

  12. Lecya, this is not false propoganda. These are facts that need to be addressed. These are blood relatives that Obama himself acknowledges. They and their activities are common knowledge and have been for quite a while now.
I debate politics heavely. My sorces are always reliable and impecable. The activities of Obamas cousin and brother are as plain fact as Bush being the president of our country.

I’m saying it becuase all that stuff you posted is what military families circulate in my emails everyday and please show me a New York Times article or the like that shows ACTUAL proof. But so is my drycleaner. Hes just not qualified to run our country. And I certainly dont think Obama is an undercover Al Queda plant.
But there are national security implications if any action should ever be needed in that part of the world.
Woudl Obama be hesitant to take out a safe house or training facility if he knew his bro and cousin were there ?

“Of course, what that relationship is, exactly, is less than clear. Mr. Rajula claims to be a distant cousin of Senator Barack Obama, an assertion that has become a cornerstone of his campaign here in western Kenya. Mr. Obama’s presidential campaign denies that the men are related, saying their only connection is geographic: Mr. Rajula and Mr. Obama’s father are from the same village.

But the allure of Mr. Obama, the Illinois Democrat, in this small, rural district is so powerful that few seem to focus on such distinctions. Mr. Rajula has become known as the candidate with ties to the American senator, and he has done little to temper this notion.

Last year Mr. Obama visited Kenya to a hero’s welcome and was mobbed by crowds as he met with local leaders and spent time with his family. A school was even named after him.

That trip proved to be a boon for Mr. Rajula, who is known locally for organizing much of the senator’s itinerary in the western part of Kenya, though Mr. Obama’s campaign would not comment on this. “The community gives a lot of respect to bravery and heroism,” said Joshua Nyamori, a representative of Mr. Rajula’s party, the Orange Democratic Movement. “The fact that Rajula made arrangements” for Mr. Obama’s visit “was quite a boost for him. To the community, that is one element of heroism.”

Obama Reaches Out to Kenyan Leaders
    By Jeff Zeleny

“HANOVER, N.H. — As he campaigned for his presidential bid in the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday, Senator Barack Obama was following developments in Kenya and was working with the U.S. State Department to speak with Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki.
Mr. Obama, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee whose father was Kenyan, spoke Monday with opposition leader Raila Odinga in Kenya. Mr. Obama asked Mr. Odinga to meet directly with the president without any pre-conditions, a spokesman for Mr. Obama’s spokesman said.
“He said the country would see the message that both you and Kibaki do not want chaos and that violence on all sides must stop,” said the spokesman, Robert Gibbs. “If the country sees you talking and a willingness to resolve this political situation peacefully, a powerful message will be sent ”

And some of your links seemed one-sided. That’s all I was saying.

I know there is a problem here. This whole campaign is a problem. What the hell am I supposed to do? I don’t agree with this war. Whether you buy it or not , its a fact that he has blood relatives who are up to no good.
And a a presidential candidate it should be looked at.
We’ve heard more about his suppoosed drug use which I could give a shit about. And I’m sure was just the nature of his adolecense
Everyone has skeletons. Some will never be of any consequence. This issue could be more than anything.
I said earlier in the previous post ; “Hes just not qualified to run our country. And I certainly dont think Obama is an undercover Al Queda plant.’
So no , of course I dont think he’ll go “militant”.
But when the issue is of concern and its not addressed it raises flags.
Obama already has a less than impressive knowledge of foreign policy. Combined with what could be sympathies for radical Islamic relatives and we could have a mess far worse that the Iraq war.
He’s telling everyone that he will get us out of Iraq only because thats what the anti war crowd wants to hear. He has inside knowledge in Washington and only a fool would not be aware of the implications of leaving Iraq prematurely.
Besides that the largest embassey we have ever built is under construction in Iraq right now. Obama knows as well as anyone ” we aint goin nowhere”
Leaving Iraq would create an unstable middle east like we have never seen before. It will dwarf the hot bed that Afghanistan once was.
Iraqi oil will be controlled by our enemies and used to fund their operations. Supply lines will be attacked. Terrorist will have a new training ground along with limitless funds from oil revenues.
More than likely Iran and Al Quedawill be duking it out as they have been previously for control. So far America has stopped either one from doing that. If we live it will be a blood bath. Iraqis will be slaughterd left and right. Radical Islam has more than made it clear what their intebtions are and the have said repeatedly this way they will destroy Americas infrastructure and economy by choking off our oil supply.
Hearts and minds ? My ass ! This is all about setting up a watch tower in the middle east so we can keep an eye on these assholes. And securing our interest in what oil we already pay for. Its not aboyt taking anyones oil. Because quite frankly it would of been a hell of a lot cheaper just to buy it. And the next thing to consider is that the oil belongs to the Iraqis. As we speak the parliament is devising ways to share the revenues. Americas purchases of Iraqi oil is what will bring their economy to fruition and not just packing up and leaving.
I dont agree with McCain on a few issues. But at least I know he will not of let all our soldiers die in vain. And he will secure the country. He has always been tough on pork. I dont like him on the border or free speech (McCain Feingold)
But without security, everything else is mute.
For me he is basically the lesser of 3 evils right now.
I think Hillary will screw herself and be out soon. I could be wrong. But today, thats how it looks.
As far as Obamas policies go, they are week. he has yet to give viable explanations as to how he is going to pay for it all with the exception of eliminating Bushs permanent tax cuts. He also has global wealth redistribution policies with the UN that are going to cost America 455 billion dollars.
